Delicata & Pencil

A favorite subject of mine is this squash and roasting them is my favorite way to prepare them.

Pairing unrelated items makes an interesting composition. Capturing the plastic orange next to the natural yellow was my challenge. The pencil rests against the squash casting a shadow from its sharp point.
