Children of War

Children living in an encampment, in Jalalabad. There are now two and a half million internally displaced Afgans. This is a portrait of a child caring for a  child.  Perhaps a  younger sibling or cousin? This painting was completed in 2019. The entire situation has changed in Afganistan.
