White Rabbit

The neighborhood kids left the rabbit hutch unlatched and our pregnant domesticated white rabbit escaped. Our property backed up to the woods and just thinking about her out there, exposed to predators had me frantic. We searched and searched and then it got dark. The next day I went out again. I still can’t believe I found her. She was about 100 yards away deep in thick underbrush. This ceramic rabbit reminds me of her.
