The daisy is the focal point. I added the Black-eyed Susan because it makes a threesome. All three are in the daisy family. Echinacea, the other name for Purple Cone Flower was known as one of the original snake oils. It’s a perennial herb with lots of healing properties. Now that I know this, I have a lot more respect for it. Next year I will attempt to harvest some of the stems and the roots, to use through the winter months. Evidently you can make healing tea. Echinacea is an endangered plant which surprised me because mine come back bigger and stronger year after year.
